Q. |
Do we tip the captain and mate? |
| |
|
|
| |
A. |
|
The mate is the hardest
working guy on any
charter and is paid with
your tips. It is
customary in this area
to tip the mate between
15% and 20% if you feel
that he has done a good
job for you. The
captain does not expect
or request a tip but of
course is very
appreciative when it
happens. |

|
|
Q. |
What are your cancelation
policies? |
| |
|
|
| |
A. |
|
The captain has the sole
right and responsibility
to cancel a charter
trip. It is strongly
suggested that unless
you hear otherwise from
the captain ahead of
time that you show up at
the dock for your
charter even if you
believe that it might be
cancelled due to weather
or any other conditions.
Once this has been
determined at the dock
you will have the option
of rescheduling your
trip or receiving a
refund of any payments.
It is very important to
note that "no-shows"
forfeit any previous
payments.

Q. |
Can I bring my own rods, reels,
lures, etc. ? |
| |
|
|
| |
A. |
|
Yes, definitely, but it
is not necessary because
we provide everything.
However if you intend to
bring that sort of thing
please let us know when
scheduling the charter
so that we can make the
proper accommodations
for your gear.

Q. |
Can I bring my own coolers? |
| |
|
|
| |
A. |
|
Our on-board coolers are
available for your
personal use. We ask
that you plan on using
them to prevent clutter
on the deck. We do
however suggest you
bring a cooler in your
vehicle to carry your
fillets home in. |

|
Q. |
Can I keep my fish to get it
mounted? |
| |
|
|
| |
A. |
|
It is no longer
necessary to kill a fish
in order to have it
mounted. We release all
billfish and any fish
that you do not want to
eat. If it is a fish
that you would like
mounted we can
take photographs and
measurements before
releasing it. We have a
working relationship
with one of the best
quality taxidermists in
Florida. They do most of
the fish mounts that you
see in all the hotels,
restaurants, etc. around
the world. They are very
reasonably priced and
great people too, and
can be shipped right to
your door. |

and cash. Please go to
our [Charter
Rates / Booking]
page to schedule your
charter.
|
● |
If you wish to
pay for the
entire charter
with a credit
card you will
need to pay the
full amount when
booking the
charter.
|
|
● |
If you would
like to pay only
the deposit with
a credit card or
PayPal and pay
the trip amount
in cash before
departure,
please use the
"deposit only"
button.
|
| |
|
|
Please Note: A
trip must be
paid in full
before leaving
the dock. If a
cash balance is
due on the day
of departure
please pay the
